How to Drive Institutional Innovation

Universities have long been places of tradition, yet their resilience comes from an inherent ability to evolve. As artificial intelligence (AI) and data science continue to reshape industries, research, and education, institutions must ask: How can we harness the power of AI responsibly while fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration to drive institutional innovation?

Poster Prizes at Data Science Day 2025

At Data Science Day 2025, students have the opportunity to present their research, showcase innovative applications of data science and AI, and engage with experts across disciplines.

But beyond gaining valuable experience and networking, there is also an exciting opportunity to compete for a poster prize.

This year, RDS@Pitt is awarding a $250 prize for an outstanding student poster that demonstrates excellence in responsible data science.

Student research is at the heart of innovation in responsible data science. At RDS@Pitt, we recognize the importance of equipping students with the tools, ethical considerations, and real-world applications necessary to make an impact.

One of the best ways to showcase student-led research is through poster presentations, where scholars can share their insights, receive valuable feedback, and connect with experts across disciplines.
