Michael Barber is Senior Director, Responsible AI at Highmark Health, leading enterprise data and AI policy to ensure safe, secure, and ethical AI use across the organization. He collaborates across compliance, legal, and operations teams, teaches AI ethics at the undergraduate level, and previously served as Highmark's Director of Data Science R&D. He holds an MS in Applied Mathematics and a BS in Geology and Energy Resources, both from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
