Hosted by Equity and Access in Algorithm, Mechanism, and Optimization (EAAMO), RDS@Pitt, and PSU RAISE Lab, this two-day interactive workshop at the 2025 ACM EAAMO Conference will explore how values are translated into metrics across areas such as AI procurement, social indicators, and responsible research.
We are excited to introduce the newest members of the Responsible Data Science (RDS) Student Scholars Program!
This program provides students with opportunities to engage in interdisciplinary training, collaborative projects, and responsible data science practices that connect classroom learning with real-world challenges.
RDS@Pitt is excited to kick off another year of RDS Connects. This fall, we’re expanding our continuing with Server-side chats, the RDS Scholar program, and deepening collaborations across campus and with our Advisory Board. We’re glad to have you with us—let’s make this a year of connection, learning, and impact in responsible data science.

Last semester, Professor Meade Johnson’s Projects in Marketing class collaborated with the Fox Sports University program to create marketing campaigns for both the MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Speedway Classic in Bristol, Tennessee.
Our class broke into teams to gather data and perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis to build the foundation of our marketing campaigns on data-driven insights.
